4 suggestions for ADHD

If you’ve found the side of #adhdinwomen TikTok, hello and welcome. About a year ago, I found this information, and it began to change not only my view on ADHD but also my own struggles with mental health.

When many people think about ADHD, they picture a boy who is hyperactive - can’t sit still, always running around, and has the inability to focus in school. While this may be one’s manifestation of ADHD, it is much more complex than this.

ADHD is defined as "an ongoing pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity-impulsivity that interferes with functioning or development” (National Institute of Mental Health, n.d.).
